INRD WIDE LOAD

Unread post by PAT.C »

LOTS OF COAL MINING AND RAIL ACTIVITY IN S.W.IN.

HERE IS A LINK TO AN INTERESTING EQUIPMENT MOVE.

I WANT TO TRAVEL DOWN THERE WHEN THEY MOVE "OLD GLORY" [A 6,445 TON DRAGLINE].

I WONDER IF RAILDUDED DAD WILL TAKE HIS EQUIPMENT DOWN THERE AND HELP OUT.

If the bucket is 22 ft wide, I'd like to see the rest of the machine.

Hey, Pat,

Go down there and take some photos. :P

That's not a wide load.. this is quite a nice load :)

Too cool, using a broom to get the wires off the load.

Oh my goodness... That has to be one of the most insane things I've ever seen hauled via railroad...
