What they want to do is route CSX trains onto the CN at Wellboro and run them to Blue Island, where they could then continue heading north down the CN to Hayford Junction where they would then run down the connector there to access BRC's Clearing Yard. The CN is planning on running few trains west of Griffith on the GTW due to the EJ&E merger so the GTW west of Griffith would be primarly used by the CSX. The connection shouldn't take much work, all that would have to be done is to extend the CSX/C&I interchange track to the CN mainline.

I saw no indication of construction of a connection track today. Maybe this is on next year's list

I saw new two head signal masts on the ground where the EB CN signals are. No other indication of construction. The exising signals are LEDs with a 3 signal over 1 signal head, the new masts accommodate a 3 signal head on the bottom.

Those new signals on the ground at Wellsboro are for CSX and thats all I know about them.
