Fort Wayne railfanning

Unread post by fr8fiend »

I’m looking to spend a day in Fort Wayne over the holiday weekend. Where are some of the best spots to see some freight action in the area?

Fort Wayne ≠ Indianapolis(Avon). They are 2.5 hours apart from each other. That'd be like someone asking where to watch train in Ft Wayne and you telling them good spots in Grand Rapids to watch as they are also about 2.5 hours apart. Avon is west of Indy, not east.
Here's a thread with some info, not particularly great, but some info: https://railroadfan.com/phpbb/viewtopic ... 27&t=39535

There are not really any good spots in Grand Rapids so that comparison is not good.
