The old wooden bridge at CD 348 is no more! It was removed Monday and is now laying off in the weeds.

Is that the one over by Edgerton/Bryan? Or the one over in Indiana?

Ah man that blows... I got good memories on that bridge. Sprinting a quarter mile to catch a train with a pair of old blues up front.

Surprised it lasted as long as it did, if I recall correctly there was a fatal car accident years ago where a car went off the bridge and ended up on the tracks. Williams County probably got tired of patrolling it and and assuming the risk for it.

Now it's all gone, must of cut it up and carried it away in the last few days. Too bad too it was a great landmark to go by in the fog out here.
But I guess it's progress, either that or to clear the way for triple stacks
