Sightings around Wandle Jct. in Canton

Unread post by TrainNut85 »

I manage to go roaming around today hoping to catch 15V. A fellow NS employee told me he heard on the scanner that there was a Wheeling train sitting waiting for Clearance to cross Wandle Jct. I ran to Wandle only to find this.

#102 sits with one gondola and a caboose.

The caboose, fitted with airhorns to warn before crossing.

I happen to see finally for once the very top signal lit red.

Then I went back to get a pic of the Operation LifeSaver logo on the side of #102.

Even the logo on the side of the caboose as well.

Then I heard the horn off to the east and I knew 15V was due to come thru, heres the video for it, I appoligize if it was taken too far away. Commentary is done by me.

Next is a video of CT10 going by as the locomotives throttle up, with commentary done by me. Also taken from a distance, sorry again.

A third train went by but I was unable to catch it, but I had two D9-40CWs and a short cut of mixed cars.

I also took a video of the Wheeling train heading north in a backwards direction but I'll post that next time, since my computer is on the fritz.

But heres the last shot of them leaving heading north.

Thats my report from Canton. I'll post the video of the Wheeling train leaving when I get the chance.
