When the HV was consolidated with the Columbus & Toledo, they seemed to be using the PRR Olive Street terminal. Sometime after 1899, the HV/C&O opened their own docks on the east side of the Maumee between the LS&MS and W&LE bridges. Later they moved to Presque Isle. Can any of you advise when the Maumee docks were established? Same for the Presque Isle facility. How long did the Maumee dock stay in operation after Presque Isle opened? Was the Maumee terminal just coal, or did it receive ore, stone and/or timber? Did the they handle great lakes package freight? Do any of you have emp tt's or terminal special instructions for the C&O/HV operations in Toledo during the Maumee docks operation? Wm J Powers
