Scotts - Marysville

Swung by today and noticed some new track work. South of Scottslawn road they have added 3 tracks that parallel the street. Looks like they are also extending the siding so they dont have to go on the main when switching the plant.

Thank god they are doing this. Hopefully the crew won't have to go back and forth onto the main when switching. Itll probably save them time and switching and won't have to worry about 50 mph intermodal trains flying past the forgotten switch and barreling into parked rolling stock and the plant itself. Like when it happened three years ago.

Just saw it tonight when I was trying to catch Q147. Looks nice and organized. A great idea IMO.
