Hi! Just wandering where the busiest spots along the Ohio Central Railroad are. This is one of the lines I've never seen that I plan on railfanning this year. Thanks for any info!

The route between Newark and Columbus. You will see a train possibly parked out by the airport or a local switching the various customers along the route between the two cities. Newark Yard where a local and road freights meet. Traffic off the Cambridge/Zanesville, Mount Vernon, and Heath meet here and either form two road freights for Columbus. The NWT or the NPT. Zanesville right there in town by the Muskingum River, here youll see the yard local spot cars for Zanesville and Cambridge industries along with coal traffic that goes north and south. You also have sand and garbage trains. Not sure about traffic east of Newark and a traffic going to Coshocton.

I have been working on 670 with complete general construction and noticed them few times a week being so close to the highway.
