If you've ever visited MLK Plaza in Toledo, then you've seen this bridge, which is just to the west of the station. I've watched and photographed trains from there many times over the years, albeit less frequently and never alone as I've gotten older. The amount of clearance is somewhat disconcerting when a train is passing. In recent years we have always stood out of the line of the tracks, not only so as to not spook the crews but also, hoping that if the bridge were to start coming down, we would have a chance to get off. I am somewhat surprised this bridge has lasted as long as it has. Not necessarily in terms of structural engineering but rather, clearance.
