CSX Derailment in Oregon

Unread post by jimnorthwood »

Looked to be a couple of tank cars off the track. High tension power line structure located near the tracks looks to have taken a hit. Some evacuations, due to concerns with the tank cars and the power lines. Train had 180 cars, if local media had it right. Location is Wheeling and York in Oregon, just east and north of the Toledo city limits. Not far from Tony Packo's, for those who've been there.

Sounds fairly minor from what I've read so far. Symbol on this train is L392-23.
