Need W&LE Toledo Info

Unread post by TrainStuff13 »

Anyone know when the best times to catch a Wheeling and Lake Erie in Toledo are? I saw one of the EX-BN SD40-2s in Lang Yard today and I waited for it to leave for a while before eventually giving up. Any info on this would be appreciated.

They usually leave after dark, unless you get extremely lucky. Also, if you'd of swinged by the north end of the yard you'd of saw EJ&E 656 today too.

Any idea where I can catch them during the day, preferably not too far from Toledo?

Bellevue, OH would be a good bet.

Thanks for letting me know, I love Bellevue. I missed a WLE train last time I was there.
