M/W on NS Chicago Line east of Toledo

Unread post by twropr »

Have noticed that Amtrak #29 and #49 have been losing lots of time over the past month or so, and wondered if there is track or signal work that is leading to single tracking.
Thanks!

Last Monday on 29, we had a t-storm and bad signals, then there was a fire right next to the tracks and the fire department had a hose across the tracks stopping rail traffic. Also apparently had a pedestrian strike on 29 the other night. So there are two nights worth of delays. When we rode west from Cleveland we didn't notice any heavy MOW work.
