Four cars of derailed. Two of the four were tank cars were loaded with butanewhich caught fire, causing the entire Brewster yard complex and surrounding neighborhoods to be evacuated. The Brewster Fire Department was able to get the fire under control with the help of surrounding departments before it spread to the other two derailed tankers. Last I heard, efforts were still under way to cool down the derailed cars and to make the derailment site safe. However, most of the evacuations have been lifted and there is no more danger to surrounding neighborhoods.

What could've been a major disaster was averted.
