Nordson Corp. revives rail cars for Lake Shore Railway Association

AMHERST — Three historic rail cars that have remained unchanged for 43 years will become part of the Lake Shore Railway Association courtesy of The Nordson Corp.
Lake Shore Railway Association President Jack Siffert said he’s had the opportunity to explore the cars extensively over the years, and he looks forward to making them a part of the nonprofit’s collection. He said the cars eventually may operate on the six-mile Lorain and West Virginia Railway, which operates near the Lorain County Fairgrounds and is owned by the association.
