Marion Railfan Society Meeting Notice

It's time for our yearly visit from the Hoosier Tower Man himself, Dan Maners! This year Dan will be accompanied by noted Indiana interlocking tower guru Wally Mattes. They will both be showing tower shots from Indiana, Illinois and possibly a few surprises from other locations. Be sure to check Dan's tower site http://northamericaninterlockings.com/

Also in our "tower night" line up is Rich Ballash who will be showing Pennsy, Penn Central and Conrail structures and signalling installations, plus his "lost goody surprises" from New Jersey to Chicago and Saint Louis. Someone we haven't seen for a while, Brian Schmidt, is coming with a show featuring non-Ohio railroads. Rich Behrendt has some tower pics from New Jersey to show.

All railfans are welcome at our meetings. There's no dues but donations are appreciated, and put to good use in maintaining the tower and depot so we can continue to enjoy both for many years to come. We are also accepting aluminum cans for recycling as another way to help raise funds.

Join us before the meeting at the Shovel Restaurant next to the depot for dinner and railroad talk. We usually start congregating there about 5:30
