Ford reopens second engine plant in ohio

Ford will reopen an engine plant in Brook Park Ohio outside of Cleveland. Will any ford plant in Michigan get any of these auto parts?

Doesnt the GLC ship sand by way of the AA and CSX down there?

Not sure if its a 'recent' thing, but CSX was switching the Chevy Distribution Center in downtown Indy today on 2nd. I know they hadn't been switching them very much since the shut down, if at all. Plant makes stampings for Detroit, and mostly body panels for Truck and Bus in Fort Wayne. Used to make stuff for Oshewa in Canada, but that place is shuttered for good.

I think they may stamp for Roanoke and someplace out west. I know there is a 'hot' autoparts connection that has to be made at Avon from something to the Q239. Not sure where those are coming from though.

The sand goes GLC from Yuma, to AA at Osmer, to NS at AA's Ottawa Yard in Toledo.

Sand does find it's way to Cleveland in the end. I understand that it is the ford engine plant specifically that the GLC sand ends up at.
