CN Special on NS?

Unread post by jimnorthwood »

At the Amtrak station in Toledo this morning, getting ready to depart for Chicago. Parked on one of the tracks near the crew change spot and thus not that easy to see, not to mention the darkness, is one CN locomotive and two cars. I can't tell what the first car is. The second car is a passenger car of some kind. Interesting to see something like this on NS with a CN locomotive.

Sorry, couldn't get the engine number. Too far away and too dark.

CSX_CO: 10 minutes, keep hoping the yard blows up and I won't have to go in tonight.

CSX_CO: Hump Hump Hump all night long, hump all night while I sing this song. See those cars, going to make them fly, sure hope the double o' eight is on time

I believe the engine ## used on the FRA inspection train was EJ&E #668.
