Toledo train day 2015

May 2nd will be toledo train day 2015. This year they have the Amtrak exhibit train which should be neat, and I would guess WLE will have a unit there as well as NS. I can't find any further details on what else will be there other than the Amtrak exhibit train, but I would guess P42 42 and NPCU 406 to be used with it, and or the 822 or 145.

I'll be there for sure! I hear that NS 8098 (Conrail) will be there!

They will be debuting the cross country bullet train at that time

well reports on the heritage units show that it is the GOrail unit not the CONrail unit for Toledo trainday. Interesting choice by NS, but I guess I'll take it. Not personally too fond of that unit but better then a kick in the pants and no locomotive.

So far NS 6963 showing in Toledo as well as the Amtrak vets unit #42, and NPCU #406. Seems Amtrak continues to run the 42 with the exhibit train.

I've gotten reports that the Ann Arbor Railroad is sending 1337 down to the Union Station as well. It was taken out of Ottawa Yard today by NS.

It was another good event, glad to see that it is gaining steam. Neat to see how much Amtrak sent this year, having the AA do a little display was nice too. Here are some photos from the day
