We now have pictures of the U30Bs, the EMD GP2UE-2 Slug, the 250 Ton Cranes, and the AJMX U30C.
B1G - The Big Train
Im interested in the U30B and U30C. The M&N could always use more GE powerCarolinaSouthern wrote:We now have pictures of the U30B, the EMD GP2UE-2 Slug, the 250 Ton Cranes, and the AJMX U30C.
Deal. Send them up via CSX. I tell them to drop them off at the Mt.Clare shops. Did you send up the engines you leased to us? What all has to be done to the U-boats?CarolinaSouthern wrote:We can sell you 2 out of the 3 U30Bs and we can sell you the U30C. We are asking about $134,000 for . We are keeping one for our own power. We will send them up to you now if you wish.
No thanks we have 16-7FDL primemovers, but could you send us the tanks. So the electrical components( wiring, traction motors, generator, etc) are in good or fair order?CarolinaSouthern wrote:We have sent all 4 Units we leased to you up to our Mt. Clare shops, and the U-Boats only have the fuel tanks and prime movers removed. We can send some with them if you like.
great, all our shops have to do is drop a new primemover in, give them M&N Gloss Black, and they will be running like new.CarolinaSouthern wrote:Yes. We can send you the fuel tanks. We tested everything, and everything is in good order. It is as if is is like new.
Hmm, well it looks like a ex-BNSF, exx-BN SD70MAC. They represented BN's last locomotives bought new. All went to BNSF and still wore BN's "Executive" colors. They are primarily used on BNSF's Powder river Coal Basin out in Montana and Wyoming. It appears CSX kept the BNSF "Vomitbonnet" pattern, but replaced the green and white with Blue and yellow. The SD70MAC itself is a 4000hp AC traction (early models) diesel-electric locomotive, while the later models were rated at 4300hp. This particular model looks like a early model (smooth radiators instead of flared hoods.) The units are no longer in production. BN, CR, CSX, TFM (now KCS) all bought them. That's all i know about them. Hope this sheds some light on the engine.CarolinaSouthern wrote:We have the passenger cars. We can rebuild them.
Also, what can you tell me about this unit? CSX asked us to rebuild it.
You forgot the BN SD70MAC. Give me a minute and ill post a BN SD70MAC.CarolinaSouthern wrote:The Three stages of BNSF SD70MAC 9647.
Couldn't find an image of the BNSF H3 SD70MAC. :insert BNSF H3 SD70MAC here:
After we finished it:
Im painting a BN 70MAC on MS paint right now, since you couldnt find a BNSF H3, i can paint one too if you want. Complete the units "Heritage."CarolinaSouthern wrote:Thank you.
Alright, ill post them both in about...15-20 mins. It takes me awhile to do a locomotive on MS paint.CarolinaSouthern wrote:Yes. Please.
