Just a heads up, Marquette has plans to double-track what's left of single-track territory from Romulus to Plymouth soon. Probably starting around late next week. MofW crews will drop ties & rail. This project will enforce a 30-mph speed limit where workers are present. But, it will allow us to move freight around passenger. All remaining turnouts will also be replaced in this section that are not rated for 45-mph. These replacements will be done at night, so no effect on you guys there.

You should extend the Michigan Line from Ann Arbor to Dexter and/or Chelsea, because they heavily commute to/from Ann Arbor.

Looks great! :)

Has this service been started already? If not, we won't allow you to run trains up to Howell when the tracks become ours unless we get 33.3% of the profit from that route.

Woah there! You still don't own my line, paper work being finalized. Do me a favor and read the thread. all servie has started and we have been running to howell (and still do) over the AA. you do not own the AA yet, another week and a half an the sale will be final, but until then it is mine. 33.3% is not happening, Because when you move people you do not make money. I would consider adding the trains that run to Howell into the sale as trackage rights, otherwise I will just pull them to osmer instead of running to Howell.

You have a week and a half to finalize a deal with me. If we don't I will pull the trains simple as that.

Note* I still own the AA until June 30th (July 1st 2013 you will take over)

If you want, you can access Howell via Ann Pere. We end up just south of Downtown, and wouldn't mind a few trains per day. Just use the SW connector. I know this still means trackage rights north of Osmer, but maybe it is best to have the station somewhere else.

I said "when the track becomes ours", and I will finally read the thread now.

How are you not making money off this? Are you letting them ride for free?

So you want 20% of a deficit? Sounds good, thanks for agreeing to subsidize

Motown Rail has just rolled out a one of a kind Paint scheme to roam Detroit and the SE corner of Michigan on our commuter lines

Image

This paint scheme is focused on Building and Made in Detroit. This also features the four major sports teams that the MTR serves. It will lead any specials that we run as well

The Ironwood Belt Railroad will begin constructing a second operating easement on Monday, September 2, 2013. We are notifying you that this construction may cause delays to MoTown Commuter Rail services on occasion as we bring materials in on the original operating easement. The end result of this construction should improve speeds along the Ann Arbor to Howell corridor and we will place higher priority trains such as the commuter trains on the second operating easement to avoid unnecessary meets with lower priority trains.
