Calling All Steamers: GR Steamfest 2013
Re: Calling All Steamers: GR Steamfest 2013
I'll be sure to send up the BUTT Railway (Bellevue, Upper Sandusky & Toledo Terminal Ry.) 2-6-8-8-6-2 articulated steamer we have stored at the shops in Plankton, OH. I'll be charging 1.5 million a day as it is the rarest locomotive in the world.

I have a monster like that, #80. Its a 2-10-10-8-4 triplex. Its rated for 9500 hp, but its not yet a mainline engine, its still undergoing tests.

Bump Bump Bump
The Steamfest is getting really close. Our crews are finishing up work on the roundhouse, and there will be a formal completion ceremony next week, before the formal dedication, which will be July 4. We're getting our schedules together, and they will be published shortly. Now is the time to start scheduling arrivals for equipment. My list so far is:
- PM 4-8-4 #1225 (Operational)
- AARR SD70ACe #### (Operational)
- HC&E 0-6-0 #### (Operational?)
- GBW 2-6-0 #257 (Non-Operational)
- CCP&S PA-1 #4003 (Operational)
- CCP&S PA-2 #4004 (Operational)
- CCP&S 4-8-4 #6700 (Operational)
- NYC 4-8-2 #3001 Mohawk (Operational)
- NYC 2-8-2 #1894 Mikado (Operational)
- NKP 2-8-4 #756 Berkshire (Operational)
- MNTC 2-8-8-2 #50 Y6b (Operational)
I know there is more equipment (like the MNTC Plow) that is not listed, and that is supposed to be that way since this is just the Loco List.

You forgot MNTX (new reporting marks) #54 our BigBoy. Also, we have rare, 1840s B&O locomotives and rolling stock, if you want we can send one or 2 up.MQT3001 wrote:Bump Bump Bump

We've got all the logistics covered, but you're welcome to send an exec train to view it all. Runs the whole week.59caddy wrote:Parts, maintenance, switching, extra power, sponsorships, even excursion trackage, we'll be happy to help ya'll .

Re: Calling All Steamers: GR Steamfest 2013
I will coordinate with the folks at FWRHS to get 765 over to PC. Our two steamers are fully rebuilt and ready to roll now, the 1894 had a test run last weekend on the Northern Branch between Van Wert and St. Mary's and everything tested out okay. The 3001 is going to have one final test run this weekend just to make sure that everything is fine tuned. Now just to confirm because its been a while, when exactly is this event again? I need to coordinate with the CCP&S and make plans to clear up or lighten the load on my lines that will host excursions.
