In my free time over the last few weeks, I've been pondering the MVRY and making various adjustments as I've gone along. Below, you'll see an updated locomotive roster, a new list of train symbols, and a brief history of the MVRY. Also of note is the inclusion of the Liberty Center to Maumee portion of the line, which was converted to a bike trail in reality.

In 2001, HGI took over the rights to what was the Maumee & Western. After plenty of upgrades, the line was restored to a max speed of 25 mph across the route. The MVRY has a strong online traffic base, although there are no online customers between Napoleon and Whitehouse with the exception of the I&O interchange at Liberty Center. The NOPL coal trains are the only moves that run the line "end to end," although they don't make it east of Whitehouse. The SD40-2's were added to the roster to accommodate the addition of unit coal trains for the NOPL plant. A typical week will see two or three unit trains delivered to the plant. Throughout the summer of 2002, sidings were installed between Antwerp and Cecil, and Okolona and Napoleon.

How many cars does the cement plant in Cecil get when DF-1 runs?

DF-2 usually spots 10-20 cars a week.
