ATTENTION DERR:
Q948 has hit a car in Maumee during a backing movement to clear a track in the yard to recrew and meet TSCR trains. The last stone hopper was damaged and has been set out in Maumee. Warning you that the train is scheduled to leave Maumee at 0330 AM becuase all the paperwork needs to be done and the current crew has tied up and gone home.

Was the caboose on the rear? It went up to Toledo this trip...

No the caboose was dropped off on the lead before this. Then they started backing into the yard so they could get a MSRR crew and meet a northbound TSCR and then they hit a car.

Yes and just to let you know we would've paid to repair the caboose if it did get hit so no worries about your equipment. Also the driver is okay but has some bumps and bruises.

Cool. Last car was ANGX 4067. When it is repaired, you can bring it down to us, and we'll return it to Carey.

ANGX 4067 is covered by insurance so it will be of no cost to repair. It is currently on a flatcar going to Chicago to be repaired.

They are in poor shape and are rusty, most do not have copper wiring due to theft. We want 90,000 for each.

Well not to be greedy or anything but to keep our other power running and the tracks good, 90,000 is the lowest we can go without financially hurting ourselves in the long run.

You can keep your scrap then

...and I know scrap yards wouldn't give you 90k either.

We'll be ready for them whenever you decide. $45k final offer.

We definatly can't go that low. They run fine but they just need wired and repainted, also some glass replaced.
