Well the Cannonball will be the new Super Chief, excellent service, comfort, speed, and it will never be late(although the Super Chief was late just ONCE in its whole lifetime).
Wait, do you have any ATSF rails?

Or will the Wabash passenger become a FailBash?

No, unless the WCS merge with BNSF, we don't own any ATSF tracks.

I bet your maintainers were busy last night inspecting your line for storm damage  For you boys in Michigan, we had a very powerful line of storms, called a derecho, roll thru central Ohio and the Dayton area where I live and it caused quite a bit of damage. The CSX Toledo Sub(which is owned by the DT&C in the paper railroad forum) suffered heavy damage with the old pole lines getting snapped and taken down and trees across the tracks. Power is out all over the place in Ohio, including Leipsic so DT&I may not see this for a few days, depending on how long it takes to restore power :(

I do believe that's why Q335 is late into GRP this morning....not even to Ensel yet.

In the paper RRs forum world, MQT crews are out working the get trackage up to par. Another of our rube-goldberg contraptions is out clearing trees from the line, collecting them, and we'll sell them to a lumber company up in Alpena.

DT&C doesnt own the toledo sub, it crosses it at leipsic and parallels it to Lima. But yes they stopped a southbound at tontogany on the main at 730 PM and it was still there at 1230 PM the next day.

Ok, since everyone else is doing it, here's the list of what the WCS has rights to the following:

WAB
DT&C
KCS
KCS Mexico
TFM
Gateway Western
Texas Mexican
Louisiana & Arkansas
MidSouth Rail Corp
Gulf & Mississippi

I think that's it.

Penn Central would like to purchase the rights to the name CF&E(Chicago Fort Wayne & Eastern). We will offer you $10 million for the rights to it in perpetuity(meaning forever). My reasoning behind buying that name is because my PC owns all of the trackage that the CF&E uses in the real world.

I dont see why not, its just a name and we dont own any trackage. 10 mill it is, sold to the man in the PC noodle!

A new passenger train may be added between Detroit and New Orleans. It's not known what it would be called or where it would stop along the route.

The train will be called the Wabash Flyer. It will indeed go from Detroit to New Orleans and back. Station stops are: Adrian, MI; Fort Wayne, IN; Lafayette, IN; Danville, IL; Decatur, IL; Springfield, IL; Jacksonville, IL; Hannibal, IL; Moberly, MO; Kansas City, MO; Joplin, MO; Springfield, AR; Fort Smith, AR; Texarkana, AR; Shreveport, LA; Natchitoches , LA; Alexandria, LA; Baton Rouge, LA; and New Orleans. There will be two trains, so that there will be one each way a day. Trains should start running by the end of the month or sometime in August.

You've got one of the first photos I've seen posted of that move yesterday, where did you shoot this train at? I can tell its along the Fostoria District, just can't tell where though.
