KCS and Wabash will merge by July 1st. Kansas City Southern de Mexico will remain as a subsidiary. The name will still be Detroit Kansas City & Mexico Railroad, or DKC&M. I will add the new trains to the list soon.

let me guess. Rapid expansion, soon you will get bored, and then DT&I will buy it.

Nah, I think I'll keep this one. As for rapid expansion, I think I won't be expanding for a while other than the project in Detroit.

The is the new paint scheme. The engines are bright red, with a yellow stripe around the middle of the engine. The yellow stripe is outlined by an orange stripe. Inside the yellow line on the side is "Detroit Kansas City and Mexico", and on the nose are 4 horizontal yellow stripes and one vertical yellow stripe, and in between the two middle horizontal stripes is a yellow square, and in the yellow square, is the name "DKC&M".

atrainguy60 wrote:MagnumForce helped me realize that opening it is a bad idea. The Wabash will not fix up the line, and instead sell what remains to shortlines(if any are interested), and just work on the line into Detroit only.
Marquette Rail would like to buy the ROW/Track from the Queen Rd Crossing in Tilbury west to the Detroit River near Amherstberg. We do NOT want the line from Essex to Windsor.

We'll put in an offer of US$10,500,000 for the ROW/Tracks.
