Disregard that, My shops can't do paint.

The HH660's have arrived at the toledo yards, They are to be placed in yard service and individually cycled through AA paint shop. Nos. 100-104

Motive Power Update.

Roster: RS1's 1500-1502, RS11's 55-58 C415 5000, FPA-4's 33,35 HH660's 100-103, c424 2409, C420 1824, c425 6050.

The FPA's and RS11's currently hold down the road freights this winter, with the HH660's working the yards. C415 5000 works the classification yard in manchester.

The RS1's and Centurys are being rebuilt in the Manchester shops this winter.

The HC&E shops will be renovating 20 sleeping cars and auto racks for future AA service. the cars have been drawn from across North america and are have been congragating on flat cars in AA ottowa yard. Extra 1503 south has been dispatched to take the train back to mansfield shops.

The contract specifies that 16 be rebuilt to 10-6 specs, while the remaining 4 be rebuilt to 6 double bedroom 1 drawing room cars. the cars come from various roads, most are in good condition. Rebuild cost per unit $400,000
Cost
The auto racks are to be streamlined and fully (completly) inclosed and be modified for quick entry and exit.
cost per unit $50,000

HC&E has purchased a former bc rail alco FB unit, giving us a nice a-b-a set of alco cabs. Should be at AA Ottawa yard in th A.M

0700 arrival, sending it up on the rear of TF-2 this evening. Will be dropped in AA this evening then taken to our interchange.

You will fix it I will polish it, my paint shops will do it best 8)

1. Being rebuilt for AA auto trains. 20 are to be bi-levels with clearance for campers,26L brakes, and streamlining. The remaining 10 are to stay as standard tri-levels built to the same specs. Cost per unit :$50,000

2. Former 10-6 sleepers. 8 being rebuilt as twin unit club cars for AA auto trains in the 25000 series. The layout will be bar and table seating in one car, with chair seating in the second. They are being built to amtrak and handicapped acessability specs. Cost per unit: $400,000.
The remaining 10 ( I AA initially ordered 20 sleepers, but they changed their mind, leaving me with 12 sleeper hulks, my shops managed to find a use for 2) are being sold as is for $15,000 or rebuilt for the $400,000 quoted above. Condition is as such; no amtrak certification, no interior installed most have trucks

Just looking through your roster, it appears you have units in NYC style paint. Do they say "New York Central" or do they say "HC&E" on them?

Yes. They have Hillsdale Clinton and eastern across the hood, look at the top of the thread (on the hh660),they are yellow and red

Update. HCE has acquired several units from the mn&t.

Thats all the ALCo/MLW units on the deadline. There are also Baldwin, GE, and 2 EMDs on the Deadline.

The HCE, in partnership with the city of saline, will be building an industrial park on the west side of town. The park will be exclusively served by the HCE. It wil include 3 10000 sq ft warehouses as well as one 15000 sq ft warehouse, with extra plots available for build to suit. There will be approx. 3 miles of track track. Cost has not been determined yet, but the project will be funded 65% be the HCE and 35% by the city of saline
