The Omaha, Chicago & Minnesota is a railroad comprised of the lines that the IC&E, the DM&E, Iowa Interstate, Missouri and Northern Arkansas, MRL, and the Kyle Railway own in real life. The railroad was formed in 1901. Their roster is made up of Dash 9's, ES44AC's, SD70DC's, C40-8's, SD40-2's, SD50's, GP38's, Gensets, and SW9's. The types of trains the OC&M has are coal, intermodal, general freight, ethanol, and autorack. Before I jump in and say my railroad is in the same universe as the Michigan Paper Railroads, do any of you guy's railroads own any of the railroads the OC&M owns?

I forgot to mention, the connection to Powder River Basin that DME wanted to built had been built in 2001/2002 by the OC&M.

The paint scheme for the OC&M is red on the entire side of the engines, and orange on the entire nose of the engine and on the rear.

The OC&M worked out a trackage rights agreement with BNSF. The OC&M now has trackage rights from Spokane to Seattle.

The OC&M is thinking about building a large intermodal facility in the Rapid City, SD area. It may be a while till it finds the money and a location to build it. The size of the facility would be similar to CSX's North Baltimore yard, and would bring thousands of jobs to the area.

Over which railroad? I know both UP and BNSF, in addition to my CCP&S, reach Portland, OR.

The OC&M has found an open area northwest of Rapid City for the terminal, only it isn't a intermodal terminal project anymore. A large GM plant had just opened on the other side of the city, and a loading/unloading facility for cars and trucks will be opened instead.

The OC&M has got a portion of the coal traffic from UP and BNSF in the Powder River Basin. OC&M unit coal trains will be running from Wyoming to large metro area's like the Chicago area, Detroit, Toledo, ect.

The OC&M has acquired the former GR&P Toledo-Michigan City line. With this, plans have begun for a possible large hump yard in Ottawa Lake.

It is official, a large hump yard will be built. It will be 4 miles long, 2 miles wide. The reason for the large width is a intermodal terminal will be built at the east end of the yard. NS will interchange with the OC&M there, and CSX might interchange there also. A locomotive shop will be built in the yard for locomotive repairs and rebuilds. A medium sized automobile loading/unloading facility will be build also.
