Ypsi, if you let me have trackage rights to Toledo, your trains will have trackage rights on any of my tracks.

If you had trackage rights on the AA then you wouldnt need them on the DT&C becuase they both go to Toledo.

I'll have the map for the DR&EC up sometime tomorrow. It will pretty much be all just trackage rights as the company has little of its own track.

That's what I'm working on. When I saw how much track the DT&C owned in the Detroit area, I needed to rethink the lines in which it had rights. I'm thinking they will, along the DT&C's routes from detroit. I'll have to go on my desktop computer to see an enlarged version of the map so I can see the lines that the Class 1's and paper railroads own. Then, I'll make the map.

The DT&C mainline is already crowded with trains even though it is triple tracked the GR&P, TSCR, and DT&C all have trains running on it. Trackage rights might not be an option at this point.

Gotcha. So, did you buy the tracks from NS/CN or did the DT&C lay their own tracks, leaving the NS/CN tracks still there?

We built our own, I mean if you want your trains to sit in sidings for 15 mins to an hour you can have trackage rights.

Cool. This means I can still have the rights to the NS/CN tracks, so I'll just do that instead. Like I said, I'll have the map up (hopefully) sometime tomorrow.

You have the roster in mind yet? The DT&C needs more power in Toledo so we are trying to lease locomotives.

Just to let you all know, I'm planning on creating the collaboritave map on Firday night. No hurry, but if it can be in, I'd appretiate it. I'm Figuring that I'm waiting for atrainguy and Michigan Railfan (the one with the icky avatar...GO MICHIGAN! ). if I should'shouldn't wait, please post here.
