Why 7? 99% of all wind farm windmilles are 3-bladed, so why send 2 and 1/3 windmills? :?

Wow... How did I not realize that?!? I was just putting in a random number, not paying any attention to that... Anyway, I edited it to 6.

The DR&EC is looking to buy out the right to serve the BASF chemical company in Wyandotte. In doing so, several new routes will be added and new locomotives may need to be acquired.

BASF used to bne good for a twice a day switch hauling 20-30 cars per switch. Now, it is switched 3x per week with usually around 10ish cars.

Thanks for letting me know. I've adjusted the days, so it is switched 4 times a week. I wanted to buy the rail operations for BASF because my grandma lives across the street from there, so I've seen it quite alot. Interesting facility.

The first of several locomotive orders has been placed. This order is for two more NRE Genset's. They will be numbered 177 and 178.

The Genset's will be used for switching at yards. Due to the tight proximity of the BASF yard, the Genset's cannot be used, and two SW1500's will be moved to this yard. In effort to keep the Trenton DTE plan as "green" as possible, Genset 177 will be transferred to this yard, which means SW1500 101 will be transferred to the BASF plant. Genset 178 will work the Brownstown Yard, moving SW1500 105 as well to the BASF plant.

More loco orders will need to be placed within this week.

The DR&EC is looking to purchase a few SD40-3W's from the DT&C's Lima Locomotive Shop. Another order will need to be made, this time of 4-axle diesels.

We can take any locomotive and put B-B trucks on them as long as they were built before 1985.

I was thinking along the lines of some Geeps from other railroads, but I may be able to find other units from before 1985.

Another engine order has been placed. A total of 20 locomotives, all second hand from other railroads.

10 GP40-2 183-192
4 SD40-2 179-182
6 GP35 193-198

The locomotives will soon be en route to the DR&EC shop in Brownstown to be repainted.

The other locomotive order was from the DT&C Lima shops. The order was 4 SD40-3W's. They are expected to be in by May.
