Marquette Rail Locomotive Update 7/15/12:
Acquired:
MQTX GP60Ws #515-535 (21 units). Will become MQT #2047-2067. MQT purchased this power to help haul Taconite trains from Alpena to Interchange with the TSCR in Toledo. All units are ex BNSF exx ATSF, in ATSF Warbonnet Paint.
That now means MQT has a total of 184 diesel locomotives on the Roster, and 2 steamers (PM 1223 & 1225).

- Our shops spent last week prepping for a few weeks of GP38 upgrades. We have 2 GP38s and 14 GP38-2s tp upgrade to GP38-3s. Each unit will take 5 days you upgrade. Our crews work M-F, so if a unit enters Monday, it will exit the following Monday.
