S173 is going through South Bend right now with two ES44AC's and 87 cars. S174 is passing S173 with the two BNSF GEVO's and 61 cars. S182 is leaving Durand with the same CP's and SOO that were on S183 last night. S182 has 59 cars. S181 has two SD40-2's and 50 double stacked well cars. S176 is going through Birmingham right now with a single SD70AC and 78 cars. S177 is going through Cohoctah with two CN ES44DC's and 76 cars. S180 is in Hillsdale with a SD50 and a GP9 with 51 cars, and is passing S200. S200 has two HLCX's and a SD70AC and 80 cars. S206 is leaving Bensenville right now with three ES44AC's and 73 cars. X100 is going through White Pigeon right now with two BN SD70MAC's and 130 cars, and E100 is leaving Essexville with three BNSF ES44DC's and 128 cars. S100 is in Montrose right now with two SD40-2's and 71 cars.

Because of the new intermodal yard and traffic being backed up on Lansing, Durand, and Monroe Roads, an overpass is being built on Lansing Road, and Monroe and Durand Road will dead end at the tracks. Road traffic that uses Durand and Monroe will have to take other roads, such as North Saginaw Street (which will be just east of the overpass).

Another project the GR&P is doing is adding double track between the new intermodal yard and Pitt. A second diamond at the Flint Sub is going to be added on Friday. It should take a few hours installing the junction, and about a week putting in the second track. The double track should ease congestion in Durand.

Traffic is backed up on the new line. The GR&P trains have to wait for some NS trains in Elkhart to get out of the way. There are six trains parked and waiting for the go ahead to continue west for Chicago. S217 is in Elkhart with two SD40-2's and 40 cars, S191 is also in Elkhart with a single SD70AC with 52 cars, S199 is in Bristol with a HLCX and two SD50's with 76 cars, S195 is in White Pigeon with two ES44AC's and 87 cars, S197 is in Sturgis with a SD40-2 and a GP35 with 56 cars, and S201 is in Batavia with two UP GEVO's and 89 cars.

The GR&P has bought 3 D&M M420W's from Marquette Rail. The GR&P will be leaving them in their original paint until they need to be repainted.

The GR&P has bought the CSX line between Port Huron and Marine City. CSX seemed to be glad to sell off the line. Maybe it's because the line is separated from CSX's other lines.

A couple of new trains have been added. Since the Marquette Rail needs some space on their line, these trains will also go to Chicago via Elkhart until the triple tracking is finished.

A siding has been built along the double track just east of the connection at Michigan City for when there is more then one wb trains waiting and an eb coming, which has been happening a lot.

GR&P has gained trackage rights over CP from Portage, Wisconsin to Minneapolis. New trains added onto the list. Because the Marquette is and might still after they put in the third track be congested, the trains will run via Elkhart on NS.

Also, two trains between Kzoo and Proviso, Illinois have been added. Most of the traffic is from businesses that have products heading west. The cars will be handed over to UP and UP will take them west to their destination.

The GR&P has TWO loaded grain trains in Saginaw tonight. Both are from Richville. The one in Saginaw currently has a SD40-2 and two ES44AC's with 90 cars. The one getting ready to leave Richville has two ES44AC's with 85 cars. The MQT will take it south to Toledo.

S100 is leaving Saginaw right now with two the Huron and Eastern heritage engine and a SD70AC with 59 cars. S101 is leaving Durand with a SD40-2 and 63 cars. S102 will be leaving shortly after S100 with two ES44AC's and 71 cars. S104 will be leaving Walbridge in about an hour with three SD50's and a GP9 with 81 cars. S110 is in Holly right now heading toward Durand with a GP9 and 30 cars, 21 of those double stacks from Moterm. S113 is leaving Alma with two GP35's and 24 cars. S120 is currently leaving Toledo and just got on the AA tracks with a SD40-2, a HLCX, and a SD40-2 with 81 cars.

A SB BNSF coal train, X102, for Detroit Edison is passing through Fenton right now with three BNSF GEVO's and 134 cars. S119 is in Holly on the siding waiting for X102 and S118 to pass. S119 has a CN SD70M and a CN ES44DC with 59 cars. S118 is right behind X102 with a ES44AC and 47 cars. There is an extra autorack train, X200, in Pontiac getting ready to head for Proviso Yard in the Chicago area.
