whew

You can have up to 70 once the double tracking is done, its just too much for around 20 miles with only 1 5,000ft siding

FYI, I do believe that DT&I owns the WC in one of his paper rrs.

Nice one MQT    WS - WC lol

The new GR&P trains from Chicago and going to Chicago have started running today. Since Annoyance Junction isn't finished in Michigan City, and the GR&P has to wait until the Marquette Rail has to finish putting in they're tracks so that it doesn't get to congested, the trains are going to turn south or east at White Pigeon, and go through Elkhart, using the NS Chicago Line to get to or from Chicago.

CP power will probably be common on the trains out of Bensenville.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention there was a light engine moves earlier today in the mid afternoon from Saginaw and Toledo going to Chicago so that there were GR&P engines in the Chicago area. There were two of them, and the one from Toledo had 11 engines: 6 SD40-2's, three ES44AC's, and two GP35's.

A single ES44AC pulling a loaded grain train is entering Saginaw from Richland for the MQT to take south. A total of 76 cars are on the train.

The new line is just about finished. The tracks have been layed up to the Marquette Rail line and now all we need to wait for is the connection to be finished.

Rumor has it that the GR&P has it's eyes on another railroad or a certain stretch of track currently owned by another railroad, but if there is any acquisitions, it might be a while due to the amount of money the GR&P has been spending lately. All that is know is that the acquisition would help the GR&P gain access to a sixth state.

You and I also talked about he Essexville trains a few weeks ago and you said I could have them. Ajust your schedule accordingly. :)

I was thinking, we could do something like what CSX/LSRC and HESR have. For about five months, April through August, I can have the Essexville trains, and the rest of the year, you can have them. That way, we both get the trains.

Okay.

Connection should be in temporaraly tonight, I'll let you know when its all set. Your last signal will be a restricting onto our main, then you will follow our signals as they say. Temporary connection track is only good for 10 MPH.

Ok, there'll be a few trains tonight going through Michigan City then. Our crews have been notified, and they will be following your instructions once they reach the connection.
