Going back in time...

...to 1981. I'll be doing a few things with this road as it entered it's final years of service before folding into the BGS and eventually the OHNR. The K&S Still had ALCO's active in 1981, as well as newer EMD's and GE's.

Here's RS11 4817.

As well as SD45 7512 in new paint. From 1980 to 1985, several units were repainted from the older Green and Yellow to the newer Red and White.

Here's C628 3611, ex D&H 611. This was one of two 628's that worked for the K&S, the other was 3612, former D&H 612.

The 3612 was retired in 1979 following a grade crossing incident... it was used as a parts source following it's retirement.
