CSX GRE MQT Train Location Update 6-11-08

Q327-10 headed west out of GR about 00:45. CSXT 8405 & 8040, 52 cars as long as I counted right.
N916-09 departed westward next at about 01:15. CSXT 139 & 539, eastern coal loads to West Olive.
Y320 was assembling their train and started east at 01:40, CSXT 2635. Y321 was waiting for 320 to clear before shoving into the yard from Pleasent St.
Q334 was still sitting on 4 track last I saw. CSXT 8039, 7777, and third unit and CSXT 1557 on the headend. Train wasn't very long, 50ish cars maybe.
MQT's northbound train was supposed to be on 20 & 22 tracks.

GRE looks quiet, yard is completely empty. Centerbeam is confirmed at Standard on Fruit Ridge. 164 in the lead and 90413 trailing on 371.

Marquette Rail Update for June 10, 2008:

Z151-10 Power Lineup:
GLLX 3002
GLLX 3003
GMTX 2648
GMTX 2676

Crew tied the train down at Kent City, snagged 3 out of the pass to bring to Sparta. (MI Rail cars that can't be handled by MI Rail yet). Light power to Vans. Pickup at Vans, Ambassador, and Trussway (mis-routed car from CSX) back up to Kent City. Run around, tie on, straight shot to Wyoming.

Inbound to Wyoming at 0450 with 99 cars.

Into 6 track, doubled 20 headend cars to 4. Got head room through Lamar with a "slow clear Lamar, Marquette Z151 OUT!!" as the engineer said excitedly.
MQT's northbound train was supposed to be on 20 & 22 tracks.
Dont forget the 65 cars on 41 track for Newago...

Oubound train was no less than 135 cars. Departed at 0630 and was out of Amtrak's way just in time for them to make it to the station on time.

Scheduled work was Vans and Ambassador with the 65 empty grain cars to be set out at Newago. Don't think they are gonna make it to Newago...

Q326 Medium Approach Grandville at 0714 with a single wide-nose and 14 cars. Landing into 18 track, Power to 5 track. Flagman at MP 7.1 encouraged the crew to notify the YM that the last car had real bad flat spots. They passed the info along.

Y320 was inbound back to Wyoming, but not sure where exactly.

Who has two thumbs and doesn't give a crap? Bob Kelso.

d700 arrived early last night approx 1145pm or so - only worked waverly
last night
327 past east waverly approx 115am with an app at east waverly
at that time z627 was getting permission by the red at holland main to siding, after z627 was in siding at holland, 327 con't west on high green
rn asked for blocks back from z627 and issued them to n916
rn had told n916 to ease down to waverly earlier
d700 had all stop in the pass at east waverly at 200am waiting for n916
z627 was getting ready to head north at that time
n916 loads for the plant from the east arrived at east waverly at 214am
218am d700 went east to wyoming
n916 headed north to west olive
z627 ready to go north as soon as they recieved the blocks
327 was past 44.2 detector headed east
this morning wakeup was 326 with 1 motor and 14 cars
final wake was 371 on time at 815am
910am x500 eb by east waverly 1 6 axle 2 general manifest 46 tri levels
light power from 916 should be back in wyoming - usual turnaround time
is 3 to 4 hours east waverly to east waverly

X500 is eastward from GR now. 11 car pick up made at Wyoming.
