GRE Trackwork

Unread post by Raildudes dad »

Looks like US Trackworks is doing tie replacement in the yard. I noticed a bunch of marked ties a couple weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon walk past the yard. The crew is there today.

When I did track work last summer, they put ties in the ground that would mabe last to this year, mabe next. they where in very poor conditon, yet still put them in the ground. I belive what they said is they where shipped land-scapeing ties and decided to use them.

GRE also got up off their buts and did some brush cutting, for the 118 move. They made it look so easy with their machine... Sigh... Chris you need to build us one of them.
