Q326 heading east at this time. Should be close to Lake Odessa. CSX 8462, CSX 7302 and CSX 2520. Roughly 30 cars. Dispatcher told them they have a 65 car pick up waiting for them in Ensel yard on Track 1.
Freaking cloud rolled in just as the train appeared.
Also, CSX 2698 heading east behind 326 with a Y150. Has 5 covered hoppers and 6 tanks. The tanks I assume are for Alto, but where are those hoppers going? They don't look like the ones Cascade Engineering recieves at Fox. The only thing I can think of would be the elevator in Lake Odessa. I also wonder what Y150 is. Extra Y320? New train?
Coming over the hill.
Rolling down to where ever they went.

Re: Y job
Ah, being idlers makes sense. Usually they seem to use a gon, so that's why they threw me off. Thanks Doc.Doktor No wrote:Funny, I hadn't heard any wailing nor gnashing of teeth this morning....but that must have been what the extra yard job was doing.
The hoppers are the idlers for the loaded propane cars. They just go back and forth as needed.
Lottsa propane in the yard for Alto at this time with more arrivnig daily to replenish the cavern for next winter.
