Arrived into GR at 0341 with 67 cars.

Departed GR at 0448 with 65 cars, GMTX 2676 leading.

Work at Vans, MI Rail, P.P in Sparta, and Wilbur-Ellis in Grant. New regular conductor on the 151 Experience, working the Tuesday-Friday Gig, or as it now stands, Mon, Wed, Fri.

Looks to be quiet at the GRE. Only 2 inbound NS for Amway in the yard. The usual Amtrak. Slow order board posted just east of Turner, I'm assuming for the Grand River bridge.

Dont know why, and I didnt dig very far into it, but they show a Q326 in our (PM side) line up to run at about 3:00 pm today out of walbridge for Detroit. Phone will ring soon, so dont know if I will have any time to look into it further.

Only reason I see is because yesterday's Q32614 got annulled..maybe they sent detroit's cars to walbridge to then run north?

Zack, my computer shows Q32615 just having passed Willow Creek, on its way to Garrett, destend for Walbridge, and then to Detroit. Must be because of the rail patch gang. Sows estemated out of Detroit, at 1:30 PM, but it better make better time. So heads up on the PM side for Q326

I really need to look at my magic 8 ball better sometimes... even saw "willow springs" as I was leaving for work, but didn't think twice about it. Anyway, yes, Q326 is going via Walbridge today. Tomorrow's q326 says through GR so far, so lets hope they'll come back tomorrow. Wonder how GR is getting it's Chicago cars...probably not says me.
D700 died at Benton Harbor, and D900 is already onboard as the recrew.

There's a northbound train up the Sag Sub at Plymouth at this time. CSX 304 is the leader. They set off a whole slew of autoracks and 2 chassis cars at Wayne around noon. Then they proceeded north slowly with one CP Rail container flatcar and maybe 15 cars of mixed freight. I never heard them call a symbol on the radio... any idea what train this was?

Q272-14 is your train in question-Louisville/Osborn Yard to Detroit/Rougemere

The CP intermodel is a good sign as its been a while since Q272 has carried ANY of this traffic. Years past up until sometime last year (notes at home), there were days when 25 loaded platforms were tacked on the front.

And to comment on the rerouted Q326-15...........train is terminating at Stanley and then they are going to run a X326-15 to GR. The reason for the reroute is because of problems on the NS (congestion and track work) into Chicago. As a side note-CSX was stacked 21 deep last night trying to get into Chicago on the B&O (dead trains and so forth).

Also will be a S335-15 (Replacement Q335-14) to run. Q508-14 was 137 cars into Toledo last night and quite a few were bound for Michigan.

Q150-14 power of KCS 4125 and KCS 4002 is assigned to come back to Detroit on Q151-15 tonight. The train would be into Detroit late tomorrow or early, early Saturday morning. If everything works out, the units then would head south on Q150-17 making a daylight run into Toledo.

CN 5451, CN 5525, and CN 5757 all are sitting in Toledo and have a potential to be put on one of the Michigan bound trains also-so far no assignment for any of them.
