On our way to Chicago, we met Q326 at Hudsonville, D700 at Grand Junction and finally X500 at New Buffalo. On the way back, we saw nothing for the entire trip to Grand Rapids, and I am pretty sure that we were the only train running anywhere on the Grand Rapids sub this evening. The consist for the Pere Marquette tonight was the same as this morning. 26, three horizons, 90368.
While there was no other traffic on the line between Porter and Grand Rapids, I did make these observations at Wyoming yard:
-CSX 7616 and another unidentified unit, probably Q327's power, was sitting behind the west end shanty when we passed by.
-Also present was the aforementioned N914 with 598 and 355, also sitting on the main at the west end.
-Nothing was at the east end, but the engine house looked pretty stuffed. The D700 power, two other local units (2756? and 6134), the B36-7 #5875 and three high-horsepower AC units (Two BNSF MACs and a CSX GEVO), were sitting by the house.
Still in GR for tonight, and I'll be out railfanning in GR tomorrow morning and afternoon as well.

Q335 received a "multiple defects" report from the DD at CP 79.9, andfrom the radio chatter it sounded as if the detector itself ordered a stop and an inspection of the entire train. The train stopped between Hagadorn Road and Okemos Road. I don't know how long it sat there, but the conductor was complaining about it happening on a day when Q335 had 98 cars. (There was a funny exchange between the conductor and the CSX dispatcher about how you never m/e/n/t/i/o/n/ t/h/e/ n/o/-/h/i/t/t/e/r/ let yourself think that you're going to have a smooth run until you're in the yard.)
Power for Q33510 was CSX 7318 in the lead and CSX 7629 trailing.
