Amtrak 365 passed Okemos Road at 8:37am and left the East Lansing station at about 9:00am. Front-end power is P42 128, tail-end is 27. Cafe car is 48181, coaches are 51503, 54525, and 54577.

At East Lansing, Amtrak 365 was sandwiched between CN train Q149 and CN train M395--so much so that 365 had to come to a full stop between Okemos and Haslett for nearly five minutes to allow Q149 to clear the East Lansing station.

CN Q149 is an intermodal, WB behind engines 5617 and 6129. It cleared Okemos Road at 8:26am.

CN 195 is WB mixed freight, and a long one at 622 axles. Five engines: CN 5632 in the lead, then CN 5457, CN 5331, BNSF 9213, and BNSF 9214. The latter two look like they just rolled out the factory door.

Those BNSF engines are from the latest order of SD70ace's from EMD. New locomotives being delivered from the plant in London are often being pulled on trains by CN to western railroads.

Hmmmm. Is there even a 195 on the Flint Sub? A 195 should be a Q-train, an intermodal. Probably that was M395, right?

nope no 195 so it was most likely 395.
