The 24 is on the move at 6:45. Nothing in the yard so they must be going to sweep the empties today. The "little tiny" loader is still at the engine house (don't know how I missed it yesterday - can't use darkness as an excuse"). The usual for 371. I would have guessed Z151 went north about 4:40 this morning. Wind is light out of the east and someone woke me up

What was the GMTX unit doing at the shop?
Hey Doc,
Word-of-mouth says the Geep was there to help start the new engine in the 3003. They did pick them up last night, and the '76 was online, the '03 dead in tow.

As an aside:
When / IF you see a Green 2-door Explorer muckin' around the yard, that be me...no "frah" in dis vehicle... thanks for all you do good sir.

I dunno what's up with the D800's not getitng the coal trains and taking empties out...maybe they really are moving, but now that they are at West Olive to start, I just can't get my magic 8-ball to track them down.

BTW, I'll be in kzoo tonight, maybe watch an NS or Amtrak "train" go through if I get some time.

Is there anything on that K357 or a Q206 Zack?

I wanted to add this, too:

D717 left North Yard to Rougemere at 8:10am this morning and should be coming back around 5-5:30pm. Hopefully they have have a better plan now for their long trains that won't fit in North Yard in one shot.

the k357 was put in the csx computer to keep a crew a grand rapids crew in the hotal instead of deadheading home.

the d-jobs will not be get the emptys out of west olive, the outbound empty crew will be doing it. that is what the west olive pool is for. the d jobs will be the pusher .

around 6:30 or so, heard that E94922 not doing too well on the way down.. losing air, and were going to park it near Grand Junction...
Crew was going to take that N90322 up to West Olive, but was told that since the plant was full of cars, that they'd leave the train at Grand Junction. E94922 recrew was already enroute around 6pm.
