Q335 westbound cleared Napier Rd. at 7:10.

E945-29 cleared 7 Mile Rd. at 7:45. BNSF 9506 in the lead.

Cuz of crew shortage in grand rapids they rerouted n95629 via garrett
to toedo to flint later today.
n95627 crew sated in flint for rest yesterday to get the e94529 on there rest,crew was called for 01:45 am this morning.

The yard job was switching out Victor Barnes with a cut of hoppers for King about 10. I just heard a whistle out of the east so I'm guessing they are heading back to Wyoming yard right now.

Q33530 nearing Fox, looks to be meeting Q32630 at Fox, then Q326 will head to Elmdale possibly to meet E94529 heading east.

Q326 met Q335 and E945 at Fox. Q335 had CSX 7740 and CSX 7627, E945 had BNSF 9506 leading BNSF 9939.

Heads up east siders, Q326 has BN painted BNSF SD60M 8113 and BN painted FURX 7285, elephant style. Nice BN duo to break up the endless parade of CSX.

N91328 eastern coal headed west from Plymouth toward GR. Cleared Napier Rd. & also Salem about 13:15. Confirmed by Zack in the shoutbox.

Food For Thought. Wouldn't it have been something if the trailing unit behind BNSF 8113, instead of exBN FURX 7258, would have been exBN FURX 8113 as this one too is in BN paint. How about two BN painted green units with the identical number on the same train.

Q326 and Q327 is meeting at Fowerville now. Q327 with over 70 cars, the majority for Ensel as usual has CSXT 7854-649 for power. There is also a G010-30 at Webberville getting ready to put a grain train together. Outbound crew from Fowlerville eastward called for 5pm for this train.

Yep the GMTX 2648 and GMTX 2635 and 54 cars passed tuner street around 1pm this afternoon. Had a nice pickup at Michigan Rail of about 10 cars. Northbound they had around 39.

Z15130, the all GP38 D704 memorial daylight excursion, tied down at Baldwin Mich, at 1858, with 00:02 minutes to spare on the clock. Crew called for Z15230 (yes that symbol is correct) at the regular time. Marquette Railfans Pudgy and the Actor will be following the action. Also of note Marquette's very own Roller Goalie managed to not get called back by CSX and will be at the Mighty Marquette for the foreseeable future.

Zack, when I first heard N913 on the scanner this morning, I thought he called out Salem first and then Napier Rd. That would have made him going EB. But why would a loaded coal train be going east and then south? Hmmm...

That makes sense though... if you didn't see that train as loaded, then it's likely it was empty. A good number of eastern empties that leave West Olive show up at Grand Rapids...when they leave GR, they leave as N9xxxx, run all the way to the Apps, get their coal, come back north through GR, go to West Olive, drop off their load, and go back to GR, all as that same N9xxxx number.
