I heard B-1-G departing westbound past the WMU campus at 12:00noon, where they met eastbound Amtrak 350 between campus and CP-147, because 350 arrived into Kzoo on time.
I also saw B-0-K, around 12:45, doing some cleanup work at Botsford Yard. B-57 from Battle Creek last night must have died on the North Pass at the west end of the yard. Often, B-57 and B-0-K share the same power set. B-0-K's crew had jumped on B-57s west end power (NS 5268), and backed the train down the north pass to switch out LC Howard, where they retrieved two boxcars. By 12:45, when I saw them, they had the combined LC Howard pickup & B-57 consist and were crossing over from 1 to 2 at View, then backing into the yard at West Botsford. Here's what the train looked like as it was backing into the yard, east end first:
CR 3070 GP40-2
1 Covered Hopper (B57)
3 ADM tankcars (B57)
7 Covered Hoppers (B57)
1 CCR 50' boxcar (LC Howard)
1 KCS 50' boxcar (LC Howard)
NS 5268 GP38-2
