Looks quiet at the GRE this morning. 2 tanks and a centerbeam still outbound on NS (many days now). Nothing for/from CSX. Looks like 370/371 has Horizons this morning (must be the warm weather :D )

From Donnieland:

iirc raildudes dad is in training this week
monday morning wakeup calls at east waverly
134am - n912 north to the plant with eastern loads
148am - enter power block
after n912 returned the blocks to rn, plg gave them to z627 to come
south to waverly, yarded the train and waited for d700 to arr. by 330am
344am - n912 lite power by east waverly returning to wyoming ( this was the quickest turn around at the plant in quite awhile, usual turn around
is min 3 to 4 hours ) for eastern loads.
n912 meets 327 at hudsonville at 400am
422am - 327 wb - by east waverly - 3800' - 59 cars - had some empty
deep well cars in the consist
missed d700 arrive at waverly
713am - 326 - eb - running at track speed - looking to make grandville
for p371
surprize at 725am - d700 pulls to a stop on the siding at east waverly
waits intill 732am and then pulls siding to main at east waverly
p371 must be late, lisa doesn't take any chances when it comes to delaying p371
after d700 departed east waverly the eyes decided to take a bit of a rest
so don't know when or if p371 went west at what time

p371 - wb - by east waverly at 924am

I saw what I assume to be Q322 NB through Holly at 6:45am with CSX 5247 & 4572. Seeing something on the Holly CSX tracks at that time is pretty rare for me, so I looked at the approximate times posted on the Bull Sheet (arr. Flint 7:00am). It seems like I should be running in to them more often than I do.

Was this a late day for them, on average? If so, I may need to adjust my alarm clock :)

That would mean that the approximate times on the bullsheet are right...

Q334 this morning was a whopping two locos and 5 cars. Ran around him at Erie, then blocked his way into stanley, because Wallyworld, couldent handle us. Oh well guess he should have left us behind him.

Thanks for the Q322 info. Looks like I might be a little late to catch them regularly on my commute - maybe if I can drag myself out of bed earlier...

empties wb, x500 , p370

at 645pm rn to d80?
will have to take you to grand junction with the empties, the outbound
crew doesn't have a taxi yet and x500 is stopped at sawyer walking their train, which will delay amtrak, so grand junction is best to get you out of the way till the outbound crew gets a taxi, have the conductor call me,
have three slow orders for you between east saugatuck and grand junction

Don...D801isn't going to make it Grand Junction, she wanted to but they are going to stop at Wells and wait for Amtrak. There are also signal issues down there and she has the maintainer enroute.

from trussell, there is a 90221 on the lead of P37003 tonight...

2223 P37003 arrived Grand Rapids, with 90221, 54515, 54517, 54551, 66; Which according to the engineer will be the new "standard" up here... So for all those that remember when Amtrak changed from Wyoming to Ann Street, its back to the future...

Good. Keep that cabbage so it's at the tail end of 371, so morning pictures heading west are possible (and more preferable than a P42).
