SB 515 just went past MP 22.5 at 7:30 am with GTW 5814 again and a very short train. This GP38-2 was in the second order of GP38's for GTW. I recall seeing them brand new at Milwaukee Jct engine facilities in 1975 or so.

23:49 - Z148 thru MP 225 with 2791 and 3939 ex-CitiRail pair leading elephant-style. One of the wheelsets about halfway thru was squealing loudly. Only a handful of autoracks trailing.
The signals around MP 190 were giving them issues, the signal on the adjacent track was completely dark and the signal on their track lit for a brief moment before going dark again.

SB 515 had 5851 again today and a longer train mostly of lumber products. Odd that they have a geep on this run as often the train was too long for it to pull back up the Hill on the run back to Pontiac. But the train does seem to be getting shorter and shorter lately. It went past MP 22.5 on the Holly around 7:15 am, a bit earlier than usual today.

Yup, at my house I heard this train passing south in Fraser at 12:24 p.m. MISSED AGAIN!!!!!! I had no time to catch, but usually is gone already! This engine has the "Classic" GTW horn too!!!!! Though I am getting ready to go to Blake's Cider Mill® in Armada (big one)! This is for good friend "Mazon" to sample wine! I will watch and have donuts/Carmel apples! Friend Roger will be the "Designated Driver!" Tonight however will be "Night Shots" on the Flint Sub. between Lapeer and Port Huron!!!! Now, I am planning on catching one of the GTW engines working train 515 Monday! No work, so I will be guaranteed to catch!!!!

Little late post here, but better late than never.

Southbound by Linden around 10:05/10:10. Now I didn't see the entire train, but what I did see was all autoracks, so either 116 without stacks, or a 280-type train. 116 is more likely as the 280-type trains are few and far between lately.

Q116.

And between CN running more WB/SB rack trains from Canada to Flat Rock via the Clemens and also Stellantis’ sales dropping, CN hasn’t needed many racks via Chicago to come down the Holly.
