SB 515 with blue GTW 5814 passed MP 22.5 at 7:40 am.

OK, no one had any more info on the CN 0998 "Geometry Train!" But, we now have "Classic BLUE" GTW GP38-2 #5814 working train 515 today, November 12th? COOL!!!! Where is this train now? Good to see GTW power returning!!!!

JT Railfan! Where is CN 0998 "Geometry Train" working today? Where did it go last night? Does it have the RDC #1501 car? Does this train usually come every November? I remember a few Novembers! Are they checking all the MI area lines? If so, when will it likely traverse the Mount Clemens Subdivision? WOW!!!!

21:43 - M397 west thru MP 225 with 5406, 2714, and 8891 leading. The LBR 197602 caboose on the end was a nice surprise. Consist was mostly mixed freight with a handful of empty wells in the mix. Sounded like they held Amtrak 364 at Okemos for them, my only inclination to the oncoming westbound was that I could still hear Amtrak despite them departing East Lansing 40 minutes prior.

WWWWWOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!! How does a caboose come on the rear of a Manifest train in 2024? Where is it going? Too bad it was at night! OK, I found out LBR reporting mark is Lowville and Beaver River Railroad Company® formerly owned by Genesee Valley Transportation® in New York until 2007! This RR is dormant now. But what is this caboose doing on CN?

03:03 - WB P667 (p66731) with CN ex-CitiRail 3949 and a VIA Rail Siemens trainset departed Snider West, ON headed for repairs.

L543 is going to pull the last of the Charlotte Southern dinner train cars that are going to CPMY. Will bring cars back to Potterville and then run around them before going west to Battle Creek. Cars will then go to Kalamazoo and be interchanged to the Grand Elk to take to Grand Rapids b

OK, after work, I went to the tracks in Fraser! I was there for a little while and left at 11:46 a.m. I was hoping to catch train 515 with GTW GP38-2 #5814! Nothing coming or going! Red signals! Did this train go to Mount Clemens already? Or did it not go up there? MAN!!!!
