L303-08 @ 11:40 Grand Rapids mark up with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #313 + #745 & 5 cars @ 289 tons & 461 feet long.

R597-08 @ 11:50 westward Holland Depot mp CG25.3 with CSX engines #796 + #741 lite power headed to the east end of Wells siding mp CG41.4 to pick up loaded coal train C801-06 that tied down there on 4/06. Dispatcher is telling R597-08 he's to assist Ballast Train W085-02 at Wells later.

CSXT 3266 and 598 with 88 Herzog self dumping cars.

Train currently slated to run up to East Saugatuk siding and run around train to dump west bound, but unsure where at this point they will be dropping stone.

Over tonnage to make the hill without helpers, so maybe R job will come push them up the hill after getting empties down to Wells or GD Jct later today.

R597-08 @ 17:44 copied their EC1 to depart the power plant in West Olive, Mi mp CGP 1.0 & diverge onto the Fremont sub-div & head south to the Grand Rapids sub-div in Holland, Mi with BNSF engine #9217 & 129 empty coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #8494 & CSX engines #796 + #741. He’ll take either Grand Jct siding mp CG54 & tie down.

He’ll be going into Holland mp CG25.3 for some work there & then head eastward. Change in plans @ 18:07: he'll be going straight into the Grand Rapids Terminal but will still use the Holland Pass Track due to the routing setup for R597-08.

W085-02 (ballast train) @ 18:33:33 eastward Bangor, Mi Division St crossing mp CG60.93 cam with CSX engines #3266 + #598 & 88 cars. Dispatcher advised they will wait on the main track at Grand Jct mp CG54 for R597-08 to take Grand Jct siding to tie down his empty coal train. Then, W085-02 will go to Wells to run his engines around his train for westward ballast dumping. Not sure if this crew will tie down at Wells, or, start the ballast dumping.

L302-08 has 5255 + 119 for power today. Was busy outdoors and did not get a car count or time by, but did have paper and pencil to write down the head end power when it went by. Had a decent size train. Lots of Lansing cars up from front, plus nearly ten cars of tie loads. At least an hour ago now from this post.
