CSX Train Location Updates - March 2024

C801-18 @ 12:02 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG44.2 Pearl, Mi with only a "end of transmission" message (should have counted 532 axles). BNSF engine #9055 & 130 loaded coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #9316. He didn't have time to add the CSX power at the east end Grand Jct mp CG54 & will be taking Wells Siding mp CG43.3 & tie down. He was moving too slow over the HBD system as he was diverging into Wells Siding for it to make the axle count. From this DD to the west end of Wells siding is 0.9 miles and C801-18 is approx 7,020 feet long (1.33 miles)

Appears M327s leader suffered horn failure around Sawyer this morning. Met M326 at Michigan City around 1100 to swap power with M326 to continue the trip. Unsure of additional delays, but M326 was just a few minutes ago finally on the move east towards New Buffalo.

U30118 is on duty at 1210 with L30118s crew not available today.

Appears M327s leader suffered horn failure around Sawyer this morning. Met M326 at Michigan City around 1100 to swap power with M326 to continue the trip. Unsure of additional delays, but M326 was just a few minutes ago finally on the move east towards New Buffalo.

CSXT 279 / 4555. No train info available yet. Looks like the FRA was visiting Rougemere today and may have decimated their intended train with bad orders...

Y121-18 @ 17:31 westward into Holland’s Dock Track mp CG25.0 with CSX engine #2686 & 6 empty Gons.

R597-18 @ 17:50 eastward Holland, Mi Depot mp CG25.3 In about ½ mile he’ll diverge onto the west end of the Wye & onto the Fremont sub-division.
