Amtrak 354 passed MP 22.5 on its way to Pontiac at 12:30 am today, a half hour early. I don't ever recall it being so early before. Maybe it had no stops in Troy and Royal Oak.

Amtrak 353 had a Charger leading and a Genesis trailing this morning out of Pontiac. I thought I heard the P42 on 354 last night pass by the house around 1:30 am.

Amtrak P354-23 cleared Dowagiac Michigan @ 8:38 PM EST and is expected to depart Kalamazoo Michigan on time.

Amtrak 355 had 7 cars today, Amfleet Cafe in the middle, and all ventures around it. Single SC-44 leading. Should be nearing Ann Arbor.

It sounded like Amtrak 351 had a P42 as power this morning out of Pontiac. Thumb, thump, thump as it went past the house in the dark instead of swoosh.

353 had an extra car today, five Ventures and one older snack car. If one of the Ventures was a snack car it looked the same as the coaches from the outside.

It’s been like that as of late, it’s for spring break per a conductor friend of mine.
