Durand today

-- made healthy s/o, durand yard was the fullest I've seen in a bit. 4 days of holiday traffic makes that happen. Reminds me of the old days when CMGN was still there, the yard would be packed with 2 northbounds being called to take the dow traffic, and the other taking the freight. Alas GLC has most of the traffic now.

Q116 came through but didn’t turn at the switch for some reason, E251 also came through Durand at 13:58

116 by Charlotte at 11:53 with the intermodal on the front, and I believe for maybe the first time, some JB Hunt and EMP containers are in the mix probably from the UP/NS deal. CN SD75i and CN Dash 9 for power.

This was Q122, not Q116.

It was quiet between P364 and when L500 ran. CN is still out of sync between the Christmas holiday and then Boxing Day in Canada yesterday.

01:40 - EB L500 with CN 8859/CN 8952 f/r - interesting train with mixed freight cars, autoracks, intermodal, more autoracks and manifest at the end. Looked like two set offs for Lansing with Biewer cars on the head end but I suppose those could go to Durand for GLC or Flint for LSRC. Intermodal was from the last Z149 that went thru Christmas evening and highballed thru Flint. They didn't have an L500 that night and never added the containers on to Q116.

They did indeed go up on 507 yesterday, order was CN 3346, CP 8641, CN 8917, CN 8885 and CN 5414 (hitching a ride to Flint, was under power).
