There have been quite a few trains today on the Holly sub since late this morning including 116, 251, empty sand train which was unusual, 507, and 508 not in that order. Hoping we will see more sand trains in the near future as well.

WB S756 61 with CN 8808/CN 2793 thru Marcellus, MI with that empty sand train from the WLE/CN Lang Yard, Toledo

While odd that they used the same first four digits of the symbol for the outbound train, the fifth digit, 6 versus the inbound’s 8, is different and denotes a different origin region and thus a different symbol.

CN 8937, the unit that solo’d the S756 61 today out of Toledo to BC was swapped for CN 8808/CN 2793 in Battle Creek

CN 2767 (ex-CREX) leads CN 3928 (ex-CREX) on WB M30131. Departed Toronto Yard 1050 eastern. Train runs via the GT, hops on the J at Griffith, and then makes a run north on the WC.

COOL!!!! This is the best possible manifest train on CN in 2023 (unless some old Dash8s/'Cowls' are miraculously re-activated)!!!! OK, this train is in Canada! Does CN ES44AC #2767 (ex-CREX) have P.T.C. equipment? If so, it will lead through the tunnel and operate the entire route into the states! If not, they will add another CN engine with P.T.C. OK, if it doesn't have P.T.C., will they switch the leader on the Canadian side? It shouldn't be a problem to add a new leader in Port Huron, right? That would only cross 16th Street! Well, what time is this train expected to arrive LansingRailfan? :?: :?: :?: :?: I could send that guy (Roger (who has my 35mm camera)) to photograph this train for me in Port Huron!!!! 😲 😳 😳 😳 😳 😱 😱 😱 😱 😮 😮 😮 😮 😧 😧 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 😲 😲 😳 😳 😳 😳 😱 😱 😱 😱 😮 😮 😮 😮 😧 😧 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 😲

116 passed MP 22.5 at 1:30 pm.

Amtrak 350 just went by about 45 minutes late with all Horizon equipment and a baggage car.

Whatever happened to this train (301) yesterday (10-28)? :?: I FOUND nothing more about when it came to MI or what the two leading ex-Citi Rail® ES44AC units did!!!! 😲 It must have arrived late and the leader switched at Port Huron!!!! HUH!!!! 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔
